Return Policy

Returns
We want to make sure you are 100% satisfied with your purchase.
All returns must be made within 30 days of your order. 
Please download and fill out our Returns Application Form if you would like to return a product.

Please contact us at info@thesailingoutlet.com before returning a item.

To be eligible for a return:
Your item must be unused, unwashed and in the same condition that you received it. 
It must also be in the original, undamaged packaging. 
All labels must be attached.
To complete your return, we require the original invoice as a proof of purchase.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. 
Non-returnable items: Gift cards.
Socks and underwear can only be returned in the original packaging, unopened
Custom designed products cannot be returned or exchanged.*
All BLACK FRIDAY/CYBER MONDAY/CHRISTMAS/CLEARANCE sales items are final.These items cannot be returned therefore, not eligible for a refund.*
*If there is a manufacturing error with your custom designed products or items, purchased on sales, please contact our Customer Service Team to arrange for a repair.


Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a full refund - the price you paid for the items will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 business days.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges
Unfortunately, we don’t exchange products. If you wish to exchange a product, you will need to return your purchase for a refund and place a new order.
We guarantee high quality products, but if a product ever fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair it, without charge, or replace it at the company’s decision.
This does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care and negligence.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be e-mailed to you.

Shipping
To return your product, please download and fill out our Returns Application Form and mail your product together with the form to the address attached.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. 
We will refund the shipping costs only if items are defective or damaged. This does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care and negligence.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over €50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
